The difference is Jesus didn't commit mass murders, rape, molesting, exc. Christs are told to be kind, caring, loving, and accepting... the Koran tells followers to kill the "infedels" and/or no followers of Islam. Trying to compare the two is ridiculous </div></div>
You see Muhammad as those things, btw he isn't their God. They see him as Muhammad the...diplomat, merchant, philosopher, orator, legislator, reformer, military general...their Prophet. Its not ridiculous at all if you look at it from their point of view.

Re: More rights gone.
IMO, a religion that adheres to absolutes can never evolve. It's impossible - I mean, absolutes are absolutes. Any religion has a core set of tenets that are concrete, secured in stone. One's interpretation may "evolve", but the core tenets cannot. Otherwise, it becomes a new religion. Christianity and its core tenets haven't changed, but the interpretation and application have. To me, Jesus Christ is still the son of God, God incarnate. That hasn't, nor will ever, change. However, man's understanding, interpretation, application, etc. may well change. I do agree with your assessment of the American church - it's corrupt beyond redemption and reproach. Which is an example of man's efforts to control, manipulate, influence via his own desires and misintepretations. Church isn't a building - it's the communal atmosphere of like-minded believers coming together for the purpose of encouraging and helping one another. Alas, I don't want to get started on the worthless nature of the American church. PM me if you want my thoughts on this topic.

Either way, Mohammed was a wanton reprobate - and I personally wouldn't want to follow such.
